Can you add the project name in the description of Quickbooks?

I have Quickbooks 2006, and although I think this is not an option, the salespeople keep insisting that I find a way to add the project names to the invoices shown in a statement. Many of our clients have more than one job that we charge for our service, but are billed to the same address. On a statement of past due invoices, it only shows the invoice number, date, and amount due. I am new to the company, and fairly new to QuickBooks (but it doesn't seem to be a hard software). Funny...there weren't statements at all until I came aboard...and tons of past due accounts. But, in order to make everyone happy, I thought I would ask the public. Can I do this with QuickBooks Statements (not Invoices, I know that already)?
