Is life completely absurd?

Life seems completely absurd to me, living around other people that constantly jockey for social position and overindulge in everything completely infuriates me. I do not see the value in living when all we (just in my opinion) are doing is killing time. I do not want to sound bitter or say my life is ****, because I know I am quite blessed. Do other people feel the same way toward life? What do you do to cope or find this value? I feel lost and hopeless everyday.
