Bringing a 1 year old female AKITA into my home? Will she still be loyal to me and bond with me?

All dogs are different, but the vast mojority will adapt and be loyal to who the perceive as the pack leader. (YOU). Lots and lots of exercise, don't worry she will be loyal if she sees you as a leader. Aggression while mostly learned is also a little inherited but more likely crops up as independence or eriveness. You need to be the consistent, loving, pack leader. There are only 2 positions, leader and follower, if you correctly ert yourself as the leader, her only option is to follow, not just because she wants to but thats how canine brains work. Follower or Leader, never both.
