Is it just me, or does PETA make you want to eat puppies?

They are so ridiculously anti human and pro animal that they instantly get my back up!!! They even think that owning a pet (or 'companion' animal) is demeaning to animals and should be banned. I'm all for kindness to animals but I'm sure I'm not the only animal lover that is activly put off many 'causes' when I see the letters PETA behind them...
