When ever I print a picture the color comes out purple-ish, why?

Can anyone tell me why this is? I use a Kodak ESP 3 All-In-One printer, and scan the image at the highest resoution. They look fine on the screen. I used both Kodak lightly glossed photo paper and Printworks Matte paper. Both pictures came out with a pinkish purplish hue.
