Does anyone have the latest GHD model? The one that can create curls and flicks aswell as making hair smooth?

Would it work on long thick hair aswell as the original wide plated straightener does? I really like the idea of the versitility of this new one, but would it make and keep my hair as straight as well as the old does because that's my main priority.
